Ghosts

Postby Simatra » Wednesday 14 March 2007 6:40:20pm

why is it that some ghosts can hold solid things and some can't? Like Moaning Mrtyle can spash water but Nick had to get Peeves to pick up a cupboard.

I think that he just wanted to blame it on Peeves. And since ghosts are pretty much just air, Myrtle could still blow water.

Maybe but it seems silly to get peeves to do it when he could got hide in the next room, Peeves would get blamed anyway.

Well, Nick didn't want anyone to come into the room and see him doing that. It would ruin his Image.

He's just an image!

No, most people would think it's cool that he'd get someone out of trouble.

Ex: Fred and George!

Maybe there are different types of ghosts? Perhaps it has something to do with the way they died and how they became ghosts? Some died and didn't realise they were dead, and some have 'unfinished business'. Who knows?

It sounds to me that in this Harry Potter series once you choose to become a ghost, you're stuck with it for eternity.

Yes, but I don't think it has to do with how they died, though...
