The Fidelius charm stops someone who knows from telling someone who doesn't know, once you know the secret however you can discuss it freely with others who already know.

Dumbledore mentioned it first, this is important. Remember how Dumbledore is the secret-keeper? Once he tells somebody they know, and by talking about it in front of the Dursleys he as good as told them.
