Neville was nearly King?

Postby Broccoli » Wednesday 25 May 2005 12:34:05pm

On her homepage JKR answers a poll question on the significance of Neville being the other boy to whom the prophecy might have applied and there is this phrase that seems interesting:

So where does this leave Neville, the boy who was so nearly King?

King? With the sixth book telling about a Prince, this word gets an additional meaning.

Does it mean that Harry is a King now? But then... Are we going to get to know his son or a follower?? :???:

Any thoughts on this?

Perhaps the word King is used to an extent of having people worshipping the person as a hero.

If JKR choose to play with words...then we might never be able to guess it until the day we read HBP.

this seems more of an expression than anything else. I'm not going to read too much into it myself.
