New Romance for Book 6?

Will Harry fall for another girl in book six, or will he be too busy for romance?

He'll be busy, but what's life without a little romance?

Will Harry be receiving a second kiss in his last two years at Hogwarts?

He might well be receiving another kiss (or two) but I'm not saying who the kisser's going to be.

I hope it's not Luna. Although she has better chances than Ginny...I think. Judging by the end of the fifth book it looks like Harry is getting closer to Luna.

Actually, I got the impression that Ginny is the only person that Harry can possible have romance with.

Hermoine is definitely out of the question because JKR gave us clues over an over an over about H and R getting together - the only reason why she doesn't want to confirm it is because she enjoys all the fan theories and such.

Cho - hopefully we are done with her for good ^^'

Luna - he doesn't know her that well, nor did she ever express any love interest in him

Ginny - had a huge crush on Harry but now she grew up and handles herself much much better. She does date other guys but it doesn't look like she is serious about them. I think its more for fun. And think about it - she has been introduced to us from book 1 ^-^ She has to have smth big happening on her part. Harry wasn't interested in her at the beggining because she is more of a kid.

Yeh, you have a point. It might be Ginny.
I don't like Cho. I don't hate her, but there is something in her that annoys me.

I definitely hope in the end Harry will be with Ginny, but I wouldn't be surprised if something minor goes on with him and Luna next book. I think JKR is going to hold out on the Hermione/Ron...and Ginny/Harry thing to keep us guessing. And you know, Luna would be good paired with Neville.

As far as the Harry/Ginny couple is concerned, it is very possible, but I think it will rather happen in the last book, to keep the tension.

The big romance for Harry will definitely be in the end, with Ginny Weasley. I would put money on it. JKR has not made a secret of where Ron and Hermione are going, and this one isn't hard to figure out either. Harry and Ginny have a very special bond that even they aren't aware of because of what happened to them in CoS. Plus, Ginny has "loved" Harry, since she first saw him. JKR is a bit of a romantic. She won't disappoint there. She'll want Ginny to have her man in the end, and it will be better because Ginny has grown out of the dopey crush stage and is getting more confidence. It will be Harry who suddenly sees her with new eyes...

Luna and Neville sound like a match. No one but Luna could possibly see something romantic about Neville because she's so off the beaten path and in many ways, so is he.

But yes, Rev Mom - you are right, I didn't think of it at first but JKR is a romantic she will probably stay out of twisted storyline when it comes to romance of main characters ^-^

I personally like Harry + Ginny, mostly because Ginny seems like an interesting girl, there's more in her inside as it appears on the outside and although because Harry never had a loving family and he would become (though he already is to some extent) a part of the Weasley family. He would grow from a lonely orphan into someone who has a big, loving family.

I've been rereading OotP all day and there's a neat little interlude between Harry and Ginny right after his disaster with Cho. It's when Ginny brings him some Easter Eggs to cheer him up and they're chased out of the library. (I think it's the library.) There's something in the way Rowling writes "Harry looked at her. Maybe it was the chocolate..." before they get chased out but what Ginny said just prior to that, got his attention. I too believe very strongly that Harry and Ginny is a done deal, it's just a matter of how it will unfold. Ginny is a lot like Lily, good-hearted, quiet, clever, bolder than we might expect in difficult times. In other words, in a family full of boys, she's going to grow into her own very strong woman. I like the idea too of Harry finally having a real family with the Weasleys.

Wow!!! I never picked that up. I must have not payed attention to that sentense. Thats a big clue!!!
