A sad, if not depressing topic, but I think it's a foregone conclusion that at least one person will die in book 5, if not more.

Unfortunately, on the poll, you can only vote once, so pick the one person you are most sure will die . . . I figure I better start preparing myself as, with how book 5 ended, it's going to get a lot worse in the magical world before it gets any better!
I haven't voted yet, but I will say, though I don't wish anyone to die (Cedric's death was shocking, Sirius's death was unbelievable then saddening), I'll be quite upset if Lupin dies . . . someone said it elsewhere, and I agree, that he's the last of the people who was close to Harry's father (as well as Sirius). I don't think any of the trio will die (certainly not in book 6), but I don't want Neville to die either (I'm thinking he won't, given his connection to Harry and to Voldemort . . . and how much more a part of the story he is). I wouldn't be happy about one of the Weasleys, Dumbledore, or Hagrid dying, but, I believe, Lupin's death would hit me the hardest.

I'll be interested to see how you vote, and moreover, interested in who you think we may lose in the next book and how. Again, no matter how heroic a death it might be or how 'necessary', I'll still be crushed if it's Lupin or Dumbledore and possibly even Snape!
Sorry for the depressing topic, but as I figured it was inevitably going to happen in the next book, I was morbidly curious as to who you think is most likely going to die (one death is hard enough to cope with...multiple ones will be very hard indeed!

) and what may happen to them. I sincerely hope, if another of the Order dies (or someone on 'the good side' that we really like), they have a heroic death far unlike Sirius's accidental death, which seemed frustrating, even if it was realistic.

Certainly, it made Harry think, which, may prove to be a very good thing for Harry in the future.
