I just thought of something...
What if the reason Snape is always harping on at Harry for being 'out of bounds' is because he's genuinely concerned for the boy? As in, he wants to make sure that he doesnt' go where he's not supposed to and get him self hurt/killed???
What thinks???

I'm not sure, in that case why he wants Harry to expelled (maybe he acts like Dobby, but I don't think so)

how do you know he doesnt purposely keep threatening to expell to scare Harry because Snape knows that Dumbledore would never actually expell Harry but that Harry doesnt know this so the threats may scare him into obeying rules....

But if his constant threats keep on having no consequences, they will lose their effect and Snape thus will lose much of his authority.

Yeah, I mean Snape even told Fudge about it. And if he keeps threatening and never achieving something he will lose power an intimidation toward Harry.

I'm not sure, if Snape know how to play it, he could make it a last a lot. Iit is just like DD won't lose admiration from Harry. Snape won't lose the fear Harry has for him, but maybe he will know how to control it.

After all, Snape has been threatening and intimidating Harry for the past 4 yrs... and it's still working!!! Maybe he will jsut stand up for himself alittle more... like he did with the mud-throwing incident???

At least in the time Harry will be a student he will have some fear to Snape, but his attitude could try demonstrate the opposite as Harry gets more mature.

But JK is going to stop writing about Harry when he finishes at Hogwarts, no? So really, nothing happens after that point, so how can we tell how Harry and Sanape will interact???

Well I heard the last chapter was going to explain what happens to each of the survivors; so maybe there we can know in case both are alive.

But Snape has already done that, in SS.
I think he will die, but not saving Harry.
