how many times....

we have effect and cause

the effect is priori incantatem

the cause is either the spell prior incantato or two brother wands being forced to dual against each other

Im' not sure Sonkem, because Prio incantato only shows the last spell; and priori ncantatem shows the shadow of each of the last spells, and they keep flowing.

What if the spell only causes the effect for the last spell performed by the wand, but when the meet, they continue the effect untill the connectionis broken? Would that explain it?

Sorry, accidentally hit sumbit without finishing...

Because we know that Mr Diggory delets the echoed skull thing, but he never does anything to make more things stop coming out of the wand.. and he says that "There is a simple way of discovering the last spell a wand performed, " ...

Good point; but if they are the same, then why with core brothers the energy battle starts?

Well, yeah but I mean, even to make it interesting you don0t hve to use the same spell; I mean they are very similar, but I don't think thar are exactly the same

but she only showed the spell at the start of the book to introduce it so that she could use it in the end of the book for the big wand battle

Well yeah usually she does that kind of stuff; maybe priori incantatem is a variety of prior incantato spell. (What makes me doubt is that Harry and Voldemort never use prior incantato spell)
