I personally don't think Voldy knows Snape is the traitor, because I don't think he would have let him live this long, being a spy... I think the one he thinks is the traitor hasn't come back to him, so at least he or she isn't sharing all their secrets...

Humm... Something bugging me! How could Voldy kill Snape if Snape doesn't leave Hogwarts? I don't know if Snape lives there, or if he has his own house, or really, if teachers in general live there! But could Voldemort just enter Hogwarts and kill Snape? He's a *little* afraid of DD...

what makes you think Snape never leaves Hogwarts?

He leaves in GoF when Dumbledore is kind of calling the Order back together. He goes to Grimmauld Place many times to report his news and torture Sirius. If he leaves for these reasons (and I personally think that in GoF, he left to be by Voldy's side, explain to him that Dumbledore would suspect him of "being a death eater" if he left at the time he was called, that sort of thing). If we're right in thinking Snape really is a spy for Dumbledore, his job is to mix and mingle with Voldy and the death eaters. During any of those times, he could have been killed, and, I think, most likely would have been killed, if Voldemort thought he was leaking Death eater secrets to the enemy.
