Just to point out... Rowling said that someone who "can't do magic" will use it. So it really doesn't HAVE to be a squib (although I would like it if it were... I think the whole idea of squibs is sad :-( .) But it could definitely be Hagrid. However, that's not nearly as exciting as the idea of it being Petunia! I personally don't think she's going to just spout magical abilities, especially after all this time, and she has had some stressful moments in her life (think of all the times she screams in the books  ). Maybe she will use a portkey, or floo powder, or the pensieve, or something that doesn't require a wand. Maybe she will turn out to save everyone and force the Dursleys to understand Harry a little better!!

Hmmm... but it was love that saved Harry from Voldy... there's no love for Harry in Petunia's heart...

maybe deep down there is some love there! i mean now voldemorts back, maybe that will shake her up enough to realise she does care for harry too, but hides it because vernon despises magic of all kinds...
you never know... it could be something JK could be working up towards....

There`s point there... strictly speaking hagrid can`t do magic, he`s not allowed. BUT he might get a special license from DD or the ministry to use magic... I just throwing ideas into the dark here...

hmmm... can Hagrid do magic now? I mean, it's possible he wouldn't know how to do much magic, having left school in his third year, but I guess, since it became public in CoS that he didn't really do anything wrong, I would think that he'd be allowed to do magic now...

Hagrid's a bit old to go to school now though. Plus how odd would it be if he were a pupil, teacher and gamekeeper all at once.
