I mean, who would choose to make a hand specifically out of silver. That is pretty random, so it would have to have some kind of signifigance, otherwise I would presume that we would have been told that Voldie made him a new hand, not specifically a silver hand...

But you stated something important, why Voldemort chosed a silver hand, Jo nevers writes something that has no relevance (a thing we have learned after 4 books), but thinking about it, silver is stronger than flesh, so maybe Voldemort only wanted Peter to have a hand that is stronger than a human one, not to kill werewolves.

But silver isnt' really that stongs of a metal... ie there are many stronger... so why use silver? And on that point, it's still flexible... so what's the go with that?

I do think that we will see a silver hand-werewolf connection further along in the books... I think that Luipn will be one of the poeple who don't make it at the end... Poor Lupin...

I know, theory is very very good (I also read it in internet), but if wormtail kills Lupin, it will be until book 7, and if taht happens in book seven maybe there won't be time for Sirius to be cleared.

Well, I'm hoping that Sirus will get cleared in about Book 6, probably in the end. And so maybe he gets cleared, Pettigrew gets angry, and in the beguining of the 7th book, goes to take it out on Sirus, but can't find him, so gets Lupin instead...

Hrmm, how sad would that be???

That would be sad; but the only chance for Sirius to be cleared is that Peter is captured (well, is the only one I can think of)

What if he gets capture, Sirus gets freed, then Peter is put into Azkaban. Then... the dememntors change sides, Peter and the other DE's in Azkaban are freed, and Peter goes after Lupin for testifying against him???

Could it happen???

It could happen, but requires a lot of combinations. I mean for Peter to be caught before Voldemrt takes Azkaban is very unlikely, and think that if Peter is captured he will be given the kiss.

I dunno... Peter is a bit on the useless side... he might get captured...

Also, he would need to have a trial before the kiss... to prove Sirus' innosence!

If Peter is alive, then there Sirius is cleared, he was sent to Azkaban for killing him, no?

Yes, but wouldnt they need a trial to find out and tell the general community what happened to the Potters, etc? And then after that, Peterw oud be put in Azkaban, the dementors go to Vildie, Peter and the rest of the DE's are freed and Peter kills Luipn?
