I said that DD wasn't dead because he will only truly be gone when the ones who the hearts that he lives in are gone from the school. This also causes a place for Harry or someone to be the DADA teacher or something.

Godric, there's a differance between Dead and gone. He said he wouldn't be gone, but he is phisicaly dead.

Not really.. DD is dead but his memory remains with all the students and staff at Hogwarts. But there IS a difference between being dead and gone.. and I don't see how its the same.
