now, it is raining, hailing and being miserable. still, i like the rain. makes cool sounds, and its soothing. and, if you have a raincoat, all is good. theres not so much valentines celebrations though. shame...

Grindelwald was the dark wizard DD killed in 1945 or sumfin... i think its on his wizard card. if DD's scar meant something, that would be interesting, and since scars are a bit of a theme already, pretty cool.

its nice to have a break once in a while, although with kids, it isnt so much of one... you still love them though, so its all good. if u start writing, let me kno. i like reading, and finding new talent is always nice.

Why are you under a piece of corigated tin by the side of the road? How comfortable can that be? Are you a slug in search of cool, damp places?

I need somewhere where I can be out of the sun.

No, when I was young and I asked my uncle where he lived, his response was that he lived under a sheet of tin by the side of the road.

Congrats on the baby!

Since quite a few of us were wondering about Dumbledores scar, I did a googe search and came up with this:

US Sorcerer's Stone: Ch 1Pg 15
Dumbledore's scar above his left knee

"Even if I could, I wouldn't. Scars can come in handy. I have one myself above my left knee that is a perfect map of the London Underground. Well -- give him here, Hagrid -- we'd better get this over with."

Interesting....

Also, can you imagine someone giving Dumbledore a broken nose? I sure can't. Nonetheless:

US Sorcerer's Stone: Ch 1Pg 8
Dumbledore's Description

His blue eyes were light, bright, and sparkling behind half-moon spectacles and his nose was very long and crooked, as though it had been broken at least twice. This man's name was Albus Dumbledore.

Whilst I suggested earler that Dumbledore may have already completed his "story", I would quite like to know what went on in his past...

I wonder what "underground" means. Surely, your first thought is the railway system, but as a wizard? Maybe there are catacombs in London that are unknown to muggles and that will be of importance in the war?

it might be like the marauders map... a map which shows where LV is at all times, or other important information for DD. or mayb its just a map of hogwarts. that would be very useful.

Probably just an abonrmally shaped scar; nothing more, nothing less. It just happens to have the uncanny shape of the london underground

What's in London, underground???
Gringotts!!!!! It could be a complete map of Gringott's tunnels.

But it won't be lol, it'll just be the train system lol.

Didn't even think of that!

I didn't think of trains either. When I first read the word "undergound", my initial thought was sewer tunnels. I guess I've been watching too much TMNT.

But yeah, I agree with Tanuki in that I don't think it will be of much importance in book 6 and 7. I just think it is a way of adding a bit of mystery to Dumbledore's past and perhaps hinting that unusual scars aren't so unusual in the wizard world.

I think it's the key to detroying Voldemort. We'll put him on the track and Harry drives the train.

Anyway, considering how big London is, if the scar's supposed to be a perfect map, it would have to cover half of his leg. I tend to think it's just a funny comment and nothing to be taken seriously.

I figured the trains actually, having read enough of the books to figure out what they were talking about when they mention the underground in the books

Also, it is DD being DD, but that doesn't make it untrue
