it's will probably not be snape...who's gonna be the potion master. ANd it would be abit weird if it's a member of the order(kid) for the one who asre in.

and NOT UMBRIDGE!!!

if it could be an all new one...someone we don't know....

Yes... in fact, all DADA teachers were new to us... Quirrell (1st year) Lockhart, Lupin, Moody and Umbridge. We never saw them before the respective year! I think we'll be very surprised when reading the 6th book and when we find out who's they're professor... (I just can't wait... )

Athena,

I agree with you about Snape. He'll be the DADA teacher in book 7. Dubmledore trusts him a lot. In book 1, snape was a refree in the second quidditch match after quirrell tried to jinx harry's broom. Snape taught (well a little) harry occulamncy. Along the way, dumbledore has protected snape a lot and has trusted him a lot. Snape will definantly become DADA teacher in book 7.

yea, that would be a way that goblins get added into the curriculum in a way that people pay attention to. It might make Binns a little angry though. Yeah, I can see Bill as a teacher, and he's already moved back from egypt.

I'd like to see Neville's gran be DADA teacher. She's too old to fight for the order but trusts Dumbledore. She knows the elderly OWL examiner and she is a formidable looking witch. POssible teachers:

Neville's gran
Aberforth
Bill Weasley (I want Fleur to come back in and he could be her way of returning)
someone completely new.

I don't think anyone from the order will do it because they will be too busy, and I agree that Snape could get his shot in 7 if LV doesn't kill him first (surely he must know that he is a spy - he teaches at Hogwarts for Pete's sake so must be a spy for either DD or LV)

Fleur was already mentioned in the 5th book, I think in the chapter Harry meets Ron and Hermione.

I still stick to the theory that it's going to be someone completely new.

I know Fleur was mentioned, but that's it. SHe doesn't actually appear. Her thing with Bill is her way back into Hogwarts.
