Mark Evans Is....

this seems like a very stupid question but who is Mark Evans??? I've read all the books no less than 5 times but I don't know who he is! what book is he in and to what refrence??? sorry for being stupid.

Lily it is not a stupid question. I actually asked the same question a couple of months ago.
Mark Evans is the ten year old boy that Dudley and his gang beat up. Harry talks to Dudley about it in the first chapter of OOTP. He says something along the lines of:

"I know you did Mark Evans the other night and he is only ten." Dudley says that Evans was giving him cheek and Harry says "If he said you look like a pig walking on it's hind legs then its not cheek Duds, it's true."

or something like that. I would type the exact quote but I don't have that book handy at the moment.

Haha, what a mean thing for her to do! maybe she purposly did this to fool people like us who predict what will happen in the next books. It would be her little trick. I mean, it was a great theory and all. Well, now we are one step closer when predicting the next book.
