actually, i have my husband to thank for that little thunderbolt to the brain... he found a new outlet for my harry potter mania: GAME CUBE!

and since I am the world's worst player of video games, I had to sit through the conversation between Aragog and Harry about twenty-seven times last night, and eventually it hit me that Aragog was raised in a cupboard... how common is it for people/animals to be raised in cupboards? I think, if this is of any importance, there are two possibilities.
1. Aragog is an automatic reference to Aragorn of LOTR for me, only with a bit of evil thrown in (Gog and Magog of Biblical lore). In LOTR, Aragorn is the rightful king, and eventually takes his place as leader. So I'm kinda followin an Aragorn-Aragog-Harry similarity here.
2. i forgot the second thing... i'll post if i remember

like i said... gettin daft in my old age
