Dumbledore and Voldemort link

Anyone else remember the bit in book 5 where someone (Sirius??) mentions Dumbledores brother and says what an odd bloke he is/was? Couyld he potentially be Voldemorts father?

Yea, that was Moody when he was showing Harry the picture of the original Order of the Phoenix. It wa near te end of chaper nine i think.

Not possible, Voldemorts was named after his muggle father, and was named after him Tom Riddle, plus why would Voldemort be an aphan if that was the case, even if Dumbledore brother was dead (I can't remember this if it was written that his brother was killed) then Dumbledore would of taken in his aphen nephew with him im sure (even if he would become one of the worse wizards of all time, sorry but there is no case here.

I don't think Dumbledore's brother is Voldemort's father too... since it was stated clearly that Tom Riddle's father is a muggle, by the name of Tom Riddle as well.

Besides, from what Dumbledore describes, his brother, Aberforth, sounds more like absent-minded wizrd than anything... (Dumbledore: "My own brother, Aberforth, was prosecuted for practising inpproprite charms on a goat. It was all over the papers, but did Aberforth hide? No, he did not! He held his head high and went bout his business as usual! Of course, I'm not entirely sure he can read, so tht mau not have been bravery... ")
