Sounds interesting, wonder if there is a way to make it on purpose.

Lol, if you hit the minimize button but don't let go, the hopping faces should freeze in place. Is v. spiffy!

Will now spend all evening watching suspended smiley faces...

Theres an easy way if you use Opera (great browser with loads of useful features which you can download for free from www.opera.com ). Just Click on File, go down to Quick Preferences and then remove the tick from "Enable GIF animation".

I'm currently part-way through trying out as many different browsers as I can, but Opera is still the best one I've found so far (and it looks great too if you play arround with the downloadable skins).

Oops - just realised i've taken this thread way off topic - sorry folks, browser stuff continued here: http://broomsticksandowls.com/forum/vie ... hp?p=21674

Thanks Paul.

Back to the topic, how many of you would like to see Lupin's brother in the HO series?, I think it would be too much, specially if he is called Romulus.

Well, seeing him in the HO series would be quite interesting! ;)

However, in the HP series, it'd be way too obvious. I would serisouly lose some faith in JK if Lupin had a brother named Romulus. I'm all for name derivation, but that's too far and too unoriginal...

Now I can't edit my post Zab, unless I edit yours too, but I won't.

Exactly, HP is a world of it own, if Jo starts using the stories of the past but with magic it would be so lame, no?

I dunno, I would like his bro to exist... maybe not with that exact name, but something similar!

The idea could be cool; but if he is name Romulus, and is a really bad gut that kills his brother I won't read any more of HP (well at leat I would think about it)

Maybe Peter is his half brother, and e kills him with his silver hand??

And Lupin doesn't know because his dada ran off and had a brief affair with some chick, got her pregnant, and she never told him, just dissapeared!!!

That sounds even more weird than my theory about Voldemor being Harry's grandfater.

Nah, it's more probable I reckon, because they aren't as main characters as voldie and harry!!! ;)

Lol, aside from Lupin's father inpregnating some woman and then running off, leaving her with Peter/Remus twins, you brought up a good point about Peter's hand and the downfall of Lupin. ;)

Silver, like the moon, is fatal to warewolves (I don't remeber where I read this, but it is true.) There's a reason that JK made peter's hand silver and not another colour. I think that the death of Lupin by Peter's hand is a defnite possibility. Well, not the hand itself, but in the metaphoric sense.

Well, this theory has been recognise as one of the most probable in the internet. That Peter's silver hand (actually of real silver) will kill Lupin.
