Twelve? Septology Secret?

Postby Asphodel » Thursday 1 December 2005 6:12:04am

IIIIIIIIIIIII

12. J.K.R's magical number. If you re-read the books looking for twelve's you'll find them throughout all the books. Draco's worth twelve of Malfoy... Harry would give 12 Sorcerer's Stones to see what Snape is up to... #12 Grimmauld Place... Barty Crouch constantly muttering 12's in the forbidden forest and maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaany more. For a full analysis see "The Ultimate Unofficial Guide to the Mysteries of Harry Potter" available at local bookstores (I sound like a commercial don't I) But, why twelve? Why not the ordinary ten?

And.

12 is my favourite number. Yes, 10 is usual, but 12 has a very nice ring to it. Same with 13.
Maybe she just likes 12?

You could actually say she used the number "1" the most. Every time she says "a" something.
(eg. There was "a" book on the table.)
1 book. Get it  ...
I see your point. I just don't think she cares that much.

Coincedently, 12 is oen of the most common favourite numbers in the world!
And I'm sure there's been a theory like this somewhere else hasn't there?

This is basically spam.
Nobody cares about the topic, and it doesn't contain any spoilers either so you could actually move it.
