Has Snape got a son?

Postby isasniffelus » Tuesday 1 November 2005 3:12:11pm

When asked in an interview if Loona was Snape's daughter, Jo answered "He hasn't got a daughter." HAS HE GOT A SON??? If this may be so, WHO COULD IT BE??? Narcissa and Snape are very intimite friends it seems. Both were in Slytherin at the same time. She couldn't marry him because Narcissa had to marry a pureblood. Snape's patronus will be of importance. Could it indeed be a flower? What is it that made Dumbledore trust him and that he couldn't tell the staff?

Maybe, maybe. Narcissa/Snape does seem a rather interesting idea.

It's one of those things that even if it happens, nobody will really care about it. They may be interested, but it's never ever going to really affect the plot.

i don't really see Snape, who appears to be so anti-social, actually having a realtionship with anyone... So I don't really see him having a son. Though... the ideea of an in-love Snape has often crossed my mind...though...he always seemed to be in love with a very beautiful girl (maybe lily...though after the 5th book he seems to have hated her) who he could never get... :)

I am not really sure too many girls will be crazy for Snape, but, then again you never know....

You know...there are some people who like other people that are considered avoidable by the many others... Like this romantic story I saw on the tv about this really fat fat (obese) lady who married a guy who so much liked fat ladys...He was like "the fatter, the better" ... They were really cute... :)
So maybe there are some girls who think "the greasier, the better"...who knows?

Yeah, could be true, but Snape is so antisocial, his partner would therefor have to be very social, and I don't think Snape likes social people.

After carefully reading passages where Snape and Malfoy appear together, you do notice that Snape likes M very much and that he is indeed capable of loving and caring... Besides, in the first book H has this strange dream: M becomes S and S becomes M... I mean, that does not mean it has to say something but mostly dreams are important if authors tell them. Moreover, S has always supported M and treated him better than any other student. And look at how intimite he is with Narcissa!Actually, the relation happened a long time ago and JK says that he has been loved by someone...

That is a very good idea, I have never thought about such aspects. Thinking of it now, the theory makes even more sense!

Thanks! And as a side note: I don't think J.K.R will put slash in her books, due to the fact that children are reading it.
