Potions in book 5

Postby Sacred Guardian » Monday 24 February 2003 3:20:50am

At the end of book 4 Dumbledore says to Snape, somthing along the lines of, "Are you ready to continue your work" (i know that's not it but it was somthing like that). We know he was a spy for Dumbledor on Voldemort, so this is what he will most likely be doing. Seeing as how if he returns to Voldemort (even as a spy), he need to leave Hogwarts. This leaves the school without a Potions teacher. My question is who will fill in in his place?

I don't think he will have to quit his job. He just might have alot of times where another teacher may have to fill in. Which will make Harry happy.

Good question- I hadn't even considered it. I think that most likely, Snape will be busy over the summer, and he will prolly be gone from school more, especialyl at night, on breaks, and on weekends. But good point...!

hmmm...JK said that Lupin would be returning. Perhaps he might take over for a bit in Potions while Snape is gone.

Well, if there is a lot of stuff going on, they might not have as many classes, especially if a bunch of the teachers are gone.

yeah... but i don't think dubledore would let classes stop or anything when students need to be taught. personally, i don't think Lupin will return as DADA teacher, but i think he will still be back, prolly doing something as part of the "old crowd" and such. working with sirius and dumbledore to stop Voldie...
