I feel somewhat silly asking this question, but, if Member A of one house searched posts by Member B of another house, and a post is in Member A's common room, is Member A able to read it? And if so, can Member A get back to Member B's common room?

Funny you should ask this, because I tried yesterday if it was possible to see posts people make in the common rooms if you click on 'see all post by X or whatever it is called in the profile'. However, when I clicked on somebody who'd just made a post in their common room, and searched their posts, that post wouldn't be there. If I posted in my own common room, I could see that post when I searched for all my own posts.

I guess you can see at least those you made yourselve, and maybe those made in the common room to which you have acces (by people of your house), but not those of others.

Gecko's correct. I've tested this and you can only see posts in areas of the forum that you personally have access to. For example if person A is a Gryffindor and person B is a Slytherin, if person B clicks on the "Find all posts by person A" link, they won't see any of person A's Gryffindor Common Room posts.

Thanks. That really improves common room security. I had asked this b/c of the super hard quiz we made and the answers were in the common room, and that people, given the chance, could(I'm not suggesting anything) take advantage of that.

(Apart from question 1, for which I had to rely on somebody else for what may or may not be an obvious reason).
