Today, every time I post, a message "No post mode specified" appears... Then I have to go back and post again and the it works... What does it mean?

This one seems to be a bit of a mystery and is discussed here:
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=352520

I've never seen that problem myself but if you still keep getting it, please say, and i'll try adding the suggestion which was posted on Mar 24, 2003 2:32 am.

I've added the suggested 24th march modification today. Can you tell me whether you still get the problem.

I'm still having the problem sometimes and I think it has something to do with the firewall on my computer. It happens with some other sites as well - a virus scan window loads and then there is an error.

Is it Norton? Just asking as I've heard innumerable problems about Norton's products - this could be another one.

The message is as follows:

Loading InterScan TeleWindow. Please wait...

If the TeleWindow appears and your default Web page does not automatically load, click your browser's Refresh/Reload button to go there

From what I can find, you're right - the message does seem to be related to some kind of firewall product from Trend Microsystems. Firewalls are great (and a must-have if you've got broadband) so I wouldn't want to advise you to change anything. Do you actually lose what you typed in in the post when you try to post but get the message and have to go back to post again, or can you just press the back-button of your browser and see what you wrote in the text box? If you lose it, that's a pain - if this is the case it may be worthwhile copying posts temporarily to notepad or wordpad or something before you submit them, just in case.

Well, sometimes I lose them and sometimes I don't, but I copy them anyway, it has become a habit!
