PAUL!!!!!!! HELP!!!!!!!
I have a really cool Avatar i want, but when i put it in, it gives me an error, it is less that 80x80 pixels, a .gif file, and less that 9kb, but, it still won't let me use it.
HELP!!!!!!!!!

well, i'm not paul, but i may be able to help you. first of all- if you have the object on MS Paint, I can help you. (if not, can you copy and paste it onto paint?) having it on paint should make it less than 9KB, and you should be able to save it as .gif file (you can change the file type by clicking 'save as' and then editing the pull-down menu there)

First off, 80 by 80 pixels is 100 by 100 points. so it has to be that size or less. do you know how to shrink things on paint? i can help you with that, if you need it, too... and size and type i've already covered.

and if you are totally lost with all of this, if you can send me the file, i'll see what i can do to change it into a working avatar...

glad to be of help! *bows* i've done work on Paint lately, sicne i don't have anything high-techier to do stuff, except for my scanner (note avatar), so i know a good amount, here and there.

I was wondering if we were allowed to use pics off an advertisement without infringing copyright laws, and they arent' useing the add anymore either???

Even though the advertisment may not be being used any longer, the images would still almost definately be covered by copyright so the answer would have to be no I'm afraid. Sorry.
