I was messing around with the date format in the profile and I was wondering why the number of characters is restricted. It's one less than I needed for my; 12hr time am/pm, Date, Month Year choice. Instead I've gone for the 24hr option to remove the am/pm key. I was just wondering if it's a board restriction or Paul put it there?

Interesting question. The number of characters is the standard inbuilt number on the forum software. I've changed it now to allow an extra 2 characters (it won't let me add any more as the software seems to remove anything longer than 16 characters even if the input box is extended in size). You can now change things to g:i:sa l j F Y (or something similar) :) .
