Sorting hat error

I just made a post in the sorting hat thread. I believe the post was on page 76. Anyway, the board seems to think there is a page 77, but when I try to view this "phantom page", it says something along the lines of "no posts exist for this topic."

The Sorting Hat forum says that I am the last poster in the sorting hat thread (on page 76), however for some reason, there is a page 77 that has no posts in it.


Just now I had a stroke of brilliance. Maybe I should make another post so that there is a page 77. I'll give it a shot, it may fix the error.

Yes, I made another post and it worked. Page 77 is now viewable.

My other post was the last post on page 76, and I posted a hyperlink. Maybe this somehow confused the system.

Yeah, I noticed that the first time Hermione asked to be in gryffindor and spent a good 10 minutes trying to get to the last page before getting fed up and replying to the other page and she hadn't double posted that time either....it was just the thread being silly

Don't worry, Nightcrawler - I don't think it was your hyperlink. It was probably something caused from a while back when Li'l monster ate a couple of dozen posts or thereabouts. I've just "resync'd" The Sorting Hat forum from the admin part of the board. I'm not absolutely certain that this will fix this particular problem, so if anyone sees this happening again, please say and I'll try some other way of errrr...Sorting it out.

Just to add that that's happened to me twice in all my time here; both when lil' monster had had a post meal!

It resolved in both cases soon after.

I have also experienced this a couple of times in the Sorting Hat.
