Hey, I noticed this the other day- how come our signatures don't show up? We can create them at our profile, but they don't show up. I don't know whether or not I enjoy not having sigs, since now a lot less room is taken up... but, are they purposely gone?

Yes, sorry but there was a problem with one particular member some time ago, plus I've got a theory that there may be a very small risk that repetitive multiple occurrances of signatures could possibly be seen as spam by search engines. I think the risk is probably small but I don't want to take any chances of being downgraded or banned by the engines. i personally prefer the no signatures thing....

signatures r such a bother...cos u have to find a banner and suitable quotes and before long theres more signature than post in a thread......

heh. that's true. i usually try to scale mine down when i have one, but some people go all out on it.

yeah... i like not having siggys, because it gets all the clutter away... you don't even need sigs, when everyone knows you and they don't need to see your sig everytime...
