Or maybe the dire3ctor is a f*cking git who doesn't want to actually bother reading the books. After all, Harry fighting Voldermort to a standstill alone at the age of 14 is much more realistic

Oh, and in the book, they describe Krum as more intimidating than attrative and in fact rather awkward looking.

The sad thing is that JKR is actually letting them do these things. She's actually looking at the changes and saying that they are okay

I don't know for sure, of course, but as there are no actors for Lily, James and Bertha (how was her last name?), it's more than lokely that the Priori Incantatem scene is not in the movie. I'm SO angry, that's one of the greatest scenes ever, Voldemort faced with his victim.

Has it been absolutley confirmed that there will be no James and Lily in the movie? I mean, their ammount of screen time would be quite small so maybe they just won't be officially credited until the movie is released. Or maybe the ghosts will not be actors, but CGI. I'm staying optimistic here.

yeh, the scene with the stuff coming out of the wand has so much potential. i can picture it so well, and it would look so cool. without any ghost thingies, it would be not so good. how would harry kno when to run, and how would voldie be distracted?

CGI would be cool, but it would be easier to have an actor to base it on. or mayb they hav someon they are basing it on, but it isnt in the cast becas that isnt really acting...

but seriously, missing out the pensieve scene? thats just so not fair. will harry still think his dad is the coolest? how will the filmmakers explain that later on? it will have a decent part in the books.

I guess you're confusing GoF with OotP. The pensieve scene in GoF are the trials of Barty Crouch jr. and the Lestranges. They're not as cool as the priori incantatem scene, but I still would have liked to see it. If they leave out Snape's pensieve, I'll run amok!

Hm, I think it would be hard to do it as CGI, real actors would be easier.
Nightcrawler, I'd like to stay optimistic as well, but when they even include Seamus's and Goyle's Yule Ball partners? :???:

yeh, it is kinda depressing

still, i do think that, since the director liked PoA movie, it will be different. on mugglenet, it says he liked it, so he will probably keep it moving in hte same direction, and not adhereing completely to hte book.

Isn't it going to be a different director?

Anyway, I went searched the net for it, and it seems as though the makers of GoF are still arguing whether they should cast the actors that played Lily and James in SS/PS or rather takes new ones. So hopefully, the priori incantatem scene will be in the movie.

I was really expecting Goblet of Fire to be my favorite movie and for it to be this whack! I was expecting a great movie with all my favorite parts of the book...IN THE MOVIE!! They say the movie is better than the book, but that is for LAZY people! I ALWAYS prefer the book! The book has more detail than ANY movie! I like watching the movies because I am a fan and like to support the money involved! AND BECAUSE THE GRAPHICS ARE IMPROVING!!

Awesome news Siana. It would be cool for them to cast the same actors that were in the SS/PS movie for consistency; however I guess that all depends on thier acting ability.

I knew they wouldn't leave out such an important scene.
