you make a good point princess, one that i have tried to convince people of several times. You can be made to look young enough to be around 17 years old, as long as you are under 25 i'd say. However, you also say that they wouldn't stick w/ the movies if they could. This is true, no one wants to be branded w/ a specific role for their entire career. Already I doubt that Daniel Radcliffe could star in another movie in the next 15 years without everyone saying "yea its a movie starring harry potter", the big roles that these kids are given will boost their careers, and I really think that they will try to make a name for themselves outside of this series before all of the movies are made. All of the older cast will move on as well I think. This is a sad thought though.

that is a good point, but i say again, alot of them are signed to contracts, and therefor legally have to complete the series, so for many of them, there isn't much choice in the matter

Ok,this is what I found out on a one site. This site is approved by Warner Bros so these informations are probably correct

Goblet of Fire
Since Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is still in production, there's not much to report about GoF but Warner Bros. have released the following information:
Director
Mike Newell

Producer
David Heyman

Screenwriter
Steve Kloves
It has been confirmed that Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson will all be returning to star in the fourth movie.
Work should begin on the film in April 2004 and is set for a worldwide release in late 2005
If you want to be in the fourth Harry Potter movie, Leavesden Studios have set up a special casting office to which you can write from January 2004.
You can only contact the casting office at the Studios. Send a short letter and a recent photograph to:
Casting Office
Leavesden Studios
PO Box 322
Watford
Hertfordshire
WD25 7XJ
This is the only address that will be accepting casting enquiries, and they won't be taking enquiries by fax or phone, ONLY those sent by post.
Warner Bros. have announced that they plan to make GoF fire into a 2 1/2 long film. The Save GOF group are against this idea and are dedicated to persuading Warner Bros. that it should be no less than a 4 1/2 hour movie.

Yes, there should be all of the movies.
I know kids who LOVE the Harry Potter movies, who are 3-4. They can't read yet - they want to know what happens! God, I have a group of kids from 2-19 lined up to come to the theatre with me on June 4th (the day before my birthday) to see it, and if the kids didn't get to see what comes next, they'd be really upset.
You have to remember: To some people it isn't a book, it's just a movie.

"The Lord of the Rings" could have been made, the "Harry Potter" movies(all of them) :-) can be made as well. Warner Bros made huge money on the 2nd part, they'll probably have quite comparable profits from the 3rd. Why shouldn't they make all the other parts? They can make HP an over-3-hours movie. Why not? They have to take care of us, fans, otherwise they may lose a lot of money
