Half-Blood Prince Delayed Until July 17, 2009

Nope, I'm not joking. When I read this on MuggleNet, I thought it was a joke, but it's not. HBP will not be released until July 17, 2009. Almost a year's worth of waiting.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Well, that felt Star Warsy. Anyway, I heard that its perfectly ready to be released in November, but they're releasing it in the summer for more money.

I hate Hollywood.

Sob. If it's a money making thing... I'm so sad. But hey, milk it for all it's worth! and 2 movies after that! I don't want the end of the movies to bring the same sadness the end of the books brought... although.. how about making a cartoon series? Anime style!

I am so mad about this. I'm boycotting future WB films, as is a lot of the HP fandom. There are videos all over Youtube about it.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if they moved DH 1, too. It's slated for a November release as well. If they're moving HBP to have a July release because they think they'll make more money, then chances are good they'll want to do the same for DH 1. And that will obviously move DH 2 as well, since it's slated to be released the May following DH 1. I know they said they weren't going to move either DH movies, but since when do they keep their word?

Alas, the dreaded, but inevitable, postponing of the movie. It seems to happen a lot these days, especially with video games *cough*Mercenaries 2*cough*. Hm, I guess I should be mad at WB, but I'm not. I probably won't even see this movie, come to think of it. I'm sorry, but the movies have all gone downhill as of late. So, I'll just wait until DH, which promises to be good.

Also, I'm not going to boycot WB, because they've still got a few good movies to their credit. Also, they made the "Animaniacs," one of the best shows I've ever seen.
