Havn't seen any of the pictures you are reffering to, I don't suppose you have a link?

Can't say it surprises me either. Emma Watson is an attractive girl and besides, in the book at the Yule ball she was supposed to look extremely pretty.

Its not a picture but in the trailer for the movie when its flicking through pictures of them all from the first three movies then the fourth one, her 'goblet of fire' picture is of her in her yule ball dress.

I will see if I can get a picture though.

Here is the pic...a bit more clear...:D not a print screen.

And yeah she looks very nice... Though, Hermione in the book... I don't think she was to be that pretty... she had big teeth and very bushy hair...

Hermione (in the books) was supposed to be rather plain looking at first, and then looked amazing at the Yule ball. I didn't like that part.

It was just like in a teen movie where the nerdy girl takes off her glasses for the prom night and *surprise surprise* she's really a supermodel. If there's one thing Superman comics have taught me, it's that glasses and and a different hairstyle can make highly attractive people blend right into a crowd. Yeah right.

If the movies were going for absoute realism, Hermione would probably not be as attractive as Emma Watson. But when I go to see a movie (especially one involving magic) I just suspend my disbelief. And looks aside, Emma plays the part very well.

I wish they had kept a scene in GoF that they decided to scrap. The one I'm thinking about is the one where Malfoy cast a spell and Hermione's teeth went massive. Why do they always keep the films so serious? I like the funny bits in between.

Yeah, loads of Ron's funnier remarks get dropped too, to the detrement of the character I think.
