need help asap

i cannot get past getting the billywigs. when i go down to the lake without buckbeak i see the lake. when i go down with buckbeak there is no light. what do i do? :???:

wait until the mornng? or i think that ron has to cast lumos? and then you hold down the button for lumos and it gives off the most amount of light.

The billywigs are towards the left edge(if you're flying from Hagrid's cabin) of the lake near a rock wall. You catch the billywigs like you did the bats.
I've found (I've played it 3 times, it's my favorite game I've ever played) that breaking a little ways away from the prey, then spinning around until you're directly in front of it, then flying straight is the easiest and least time consuming way to catch whichever prey.
