I have tried a lot to fly the dragon but it flies too low to reach the ball of smoke above it. I'd thought it's the same as flying buckbeak but it's different. I don't understand why I can't although I've pressed the spacebar as it says to fly . The dragon just flies a short distance when I pressed the spacebar or click the right mouse and then stops immediately. It's the scene when Hermione first met the dragon when she's learnt Lapifors and Draconifors Spells. Now I'm stuck in this part. Can't anyone help me?

My advice is just to keep practicing with the mouse and controls, I've had the game three years and had the same problem, ended up just quitting and leaving it alone. A few days ago I reinstalled and played it again and beat it. If practice doesn't help, try forgetting about it for awhile and when you come back, you may be able to beat it.

Hmmm. I played it on the PS2 and beat it in one day. I don't quite recall riding a dragon, but then again, I probably forgot. It was before HP4 came out. Maybe I'll try it again, for old time's sake. But, yeah, I don't play platforming games on the PC. Too many buttons for me to remember. I just like the good ol' Analog Sticks and trigger buttons (preferably with a square, x, circle, and triangle added in).
