Cheats for CoS PS2 True or False?

So I beat Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets and then decided that since I payed an outrageous amount of money for the game I better get some more use out of it. I looked online for cheats to make the game more interesting and so far none of them work! Has anyone else made them work? Am I doing something wrong?

Here is what I've found online that has proven unsuccesful for me

1) "In diagon ally once you have the spell book grade 2 go out and break the barrels and collect the coins. Go into a store, then go out again and do the same. Repeat as many times as you want." I've tried this and as far as I can tell you can only have 8 sickles at a time so it doesn't work.

2) "to gain unlimited bertie bots beans go out of the portrait and flippendo the object. Continue until you have as many beans as you need." THere is no object when I go out of the portrait. The closest I've come is going into the Arithmancy classroom on the seventh floor (it contains 12-14 beans) collecting the beans, going out of gryff tower, then re-entering and heading to the room again. This works because I've tried it.

3) "on the second day gain a B or better on the flying test to get your numbus 2000" I recieved an A+ on the first go and I didn't get a nimbus. Anyone else have any luck
