all quiet on the quidditch front

Postby Manticore » Saturday 25 June 2005 2:41:30am

As i said in my new members thing, i used to post on Sacred Guardian occasionaly with my friend. He seemed really interested in getting quidditch going. by the lack of activity here, i'm guessing it has never really gotten underway. Why is that? i think it would be fun. Any ideas on how to do it. Anyone want to play. I know there are house quidditch teams, but do they ever do anything?

Manticore, I believe they used to -- this forum used to be very active, but as I can see right now, it's about as slow as a snail. Generally right after a book comes out the forum picks up so I bet there will be a lot more activity soon -- new active members, old members returning, -- between the book next month and the movie in the fall this place will probably be hoppin'...so I'm guessing there will be more interest in things like this then.

Yeah.. say, this place needs a new moderator to get it going I reckon, to sort of reactivate the place.
Now, you see, I'm to lazy to do it :-) .

Should we just do away with quidditch? Anyone going to step up? :???:

Well... it hasn't been on topic since August.... and you can always unlock it if it's locked and a bunch of people want to go on it.

Well I mean, the Quidditch Forum is actually a section!
To be honest, I may be alone here, but I don't think it warrants that honestly. I think it's a bit of a waste. Just use the RPG for quidditch, I think...
Plus it'll make the teams more organised, and only one player will be able to play per position per house. If we start the house competition as an RPG that is.. :-?

What could it be replaced with I wonder?

A "Magic" section? A place to discuss the spells and stuff...? :???:

Um... well, I don't think there would be much to discuss there.

More than this place!
Isn't hard to beat...

Besides, you could actually discuss all the love-magic stuff and all that etc.
