Options for being sorted into your chosen house

Postby Paul » Sunday 8 June 2003 6:02:54pm

There are now two main ways to be sorted into Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw or Slytherin. You can either post your request in the Sorting Hat thread at http://broomsticksandowls.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=33 , or alternatively you can request to join a particular House through the Usergroups lists at the top right of the page. With both of these options, the Prefects (Moderators of each house) now also have the ability (as well as me) of Sorting members. This gives the advantage that members may be sorted a little faster than before, as you won't need to wait for me to do the Sorting (Prefects may do it if they get to the board faster than me). :)

I'll leave it up to the Prefects as to whether they wish to do a poem in the Sorting Hat for new House members. For new members who haven't had a poem I'll probably try to do a bulk poem thingy around every couple of weeks.

Hope everyone enjoys the new Usergroups lists which can now be accessed to get details of everyone in each house. :-)

hemm...neo...excellent way to get your post count up that is...posting single smileys all over the boards...in most places that would be considered spamming....

It is not for my post count, sometimes a smiley says all I want.
Amd I don't do it all over the forum, but I can't quit it if there is a problem with that.

What should be spam is Mint posting after you saying things like "that's right" or "I agree", and then nothing more.

You seem like a friendly person, Niles. How does Hufflepuff sound - the house of friendhip, loyalty, honour and good stuff like that? If it seems a good idea to you, I'll sort you in the next 24 hours. :)

Are you certain, Niles? Hufflepuff's a great house!

But however, if you are certain, please confirm your wanting to join Ravenclaw, and I can sort you in a jiffy! :P
