If you need any help with moderating Diagon Alley because it is active now and only has 1 mod, I think,

I'd be delighted to help as I'm usually in there visiting the Juice Bar...

I would like to be a mod. I post on all forums (except common rooms other than Ravenclaw). I would like to moderate The Ravenclaw Common Room, and The Books. Of course, if I don't have enough posts that is okay.

*in case you make me a mod, St. Mungo's wouldn't be bad either (I forgot to mention it). I know I haven't been here a while, but I do post a lot, and it isn't spam. I just have 3 or 4 postings on the testing board, but other than that, they were real posts.

Thanks for volunteering to help Asphodel and Arun! Normally you need to be a member for about a month before becoming a Moderator - I was going to ask for you to get back to me around the end of this month, Asphodel, but taking into consideration your enthusiatic contributions already on the board, I think that you've already shown that it would be a positive thing for our little community here on the forum as a whole to upgrade you to Moderator status right now.

Arun - you've been here since July and have been active in contributing well to the board also, so I'm very pleased to say that BaO will be thankfully welcoming you as a Moderator too!

I'll get all your abilities and additional access set up for you in the next 24 hours - got to have a bit of an early night tonight, but will be back on the forum later tomorrow (or is later today in UK time :-) ) and will tippety-tap :typing: the stuff into hoppy then for your Moderator permissions :)

Yay, tis done! Arun, I'm pleased to announce that you're now the Moderator of Zonko's Joke shop! Watch out for those Fanged Frisbees - they seem to have a habit of leaping off the shelves and random and attacking anyone who moves at this time of the year - something about halloween just having gone by I think!

Asphodel, I'm happy to say you're now Moderator of The Books section and also new Prefect of Ravenclaw.

Just seconds after the mention of the word "Prefect", an elegant white eagle swoops through an open window at the teachers' end of the Great Hall, and glides over the student tables. About half-way along the Ravenclaw table, the eagle dives suddenly downwards...shrieks are heard - not from the eagle but from some of the students, but just as the eagle is inches away from one of the students below, its wings turn the fall into a curve, and the eagle drops a shining badge on the table in front of Asphodel before swooping along only a foot above the rest of the table, rising and turning at the table's end, and heading back toward the window through which it first entered.

The students around Asphodel notice that the badge has a single letter - a "P"....and applause erupts as they realise that Ravenclaw has a new Prefect!.

I've been weighing it up for a while, but I think the time's right about now to become a mod, please.
I've been on for nearing a year, and I won't be leaving any time soon either.
The anticipation leading up the the 7th book will be too much to miss, and I can't help but stick around for the discussion.
I've heard Gwared's away as well, which means that the HBP Fan-fic section has no moderator.

All in all, I'd love to help out.

I heard that Gwared is away.
That leaves 1 really active Gryffindor moderator: Crookshanks. If I could be a moderator for Gryffindor it would be cool.

Also, Paul, you're a pretty busy guy. You're the only mod for Diagon Alley. If you want I can help out there. :grin: What do you say, huh? :D :D
