well, i don't have mod experience. but that's okay because i don't really want to be a mod (at least not at the present moment) i can barely do html, I'd be scared to be a mod, even if you don't use html. lol. but other than me, most ex-sk/new recruits have mod experience.

About a month or thereabouts is probably a reasonable timescale although it depends on how active on the boards someone is really. For example if someone had only posted about 2 or 3 times in that period it would probably take a bit longer to get a feeling for how they were, and how well they'd be as a moderator.

Good to hear some of Sonkkem's new Hufflepuffs already have moderator experience - would be cool to have a few more moderators in the next few weeks. You don't really need to know html by the way ElvenMist but it's OK if you'd rather not be a moderator at the moment - just enjoy it here, that's all ya need to do.

Interesting question - my feeling is that any conflict of interest would probably be negligible, as I trust the folks who moderate to be fair and in the unlikely event that there were any problems the moderator could be replaced.
